ATTILIO MARRA
Attilio is a seasoned Fellow Chartered Structural, Civil, and Heritage & Conservation Engineer with over 35 years of experience in the construction industry.
He earned his 5-year degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Naples (Italy) and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in OHS Management from Curtin University.
After moving to Western Australia more than two decades ago, Attilio has worked as a Senior Civil and Structural Engineer for various firms, including BG&E, Structerre, McDowell Affleck, and Scott & Associates. He has also worked for the Curtin University Student Guild, where he served as the Occupational Safety & Health Coordinator.
Since 2007, Attilio has been the Principal Engineer of Engineering Design Consultancy. His expertise is evidenced in his work on residential developments, building refurbishment projects, and heritage restorations focusing on achieving structural integrity.
Attilio’s professional involvement includes being a member of the Engineers Australia (EA) Structures Panel for several years before joining the EA Heritage Panel in 2018. His contributions reflect a commitment to the industry and the importance of engineering heritage.
Attilio brings extensive experience and a well-rounded perspective to Engineering Design Consultancy, contributing to projects with a focus on structural integrity and safety. His background and commitment to professional organizations underscore his dedication to the field.
